The BIG BUILD Event is the 3rd Annual joint build-industry association event hosted by SMPS Southeast Louisiana. 

This year the event brings together 10 A/E/C associations including ABC, ACEC, AGC, AIA, ASCE, CFMA, CMAA, IIDA, SMPS, and WTS for the New Orleans area's largest build industry networking event and a client panel. 

Panelists will focus on procurement procedures, upcoming capital projects, and will be available for a Questions & Answer session.

The event sold out the past two years so we've expanded registration to 200 attendees, but space will still be limited. Registration is available on a first come, first serve basis.

ABOUT ANGELIQUE GIESEMANN: 

Angelique is a Facility Project Manager for new branch construction as well as large renovation projects for Hancock Whitney Bank.  Part of her responsibilities include working with the architects, designers, and contractors as well as managing  multiple internal vendors on all construction projects.  Other large projects have involved being part of the bank conversion team and responsible for all signage changes related to purchase of new bank facilities.  Angelique has worked alongside the procurement department to secure standard pricing and services for furniture, carpet and other services used.  She has been with Whitney Bank for over 16 years, prior to that she was with Hibernia for 13 years.  Angelique is the past president of the International Facility Managers Assoc. (IFMA) New Orleans chapter where she has been a member for over 25 years.

ABOUT COREY ROME:

Corey is the Strategic Sourcing Specialist for Dow Chemical Louisiana Turnaround and Construction. Corey is responsible for Contract Management for local, gulf coast, and North American agreements, he is a team leader for competitive bids for all large capital projects and turnaround labor for Louisiana, and he provides management and evaluation of new suppliers for Dow SCO, Hahnville, LA. Corey has been with Dow Chemical since January of 2004.
