Join SMPS Southeast Louisiana as we kick off our newest Member Benefit, a monthly education centered series. Each month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, we will host an educational opportunity that is free of charge and only available to SMPS members. The events will rotate between webinars, speaker presenations and a moderated roundtable. The events will be held an area member's firm. Lunch is brown bag.

Speaker: Maggie Thacker
Maggie Thacker, a seasoned professional in the AEC industry, is presently the Director of Marketing & Business Development of Eskew+Dumez+Ripple (the AIA’s 2014 Firm Award recipient) in New Orleans. Formerly, she was a Principal and Director of Marketing & Business Development with VMDO Architects – a regional firm in Central Virginia specializing in educational environments. After overseeing a Strategic Visioning and restructuring of the practice in late 2012, she served as Executive Committee Chairman. She received her formal education at Virginia Commonwealth University and mentorship in the A/E/C profession from her rich and rewarding tenure at Perkins + Will and Harry Weese Associates in Chicago. She resides with her family outside Charlottesville, Virginia.
